Day 13

22k Slow start due to bush bash to get off the Cobberas. Then for the
first time the official track stopped using fire trail and used
walking track. Fortunately they have recently upgraded this track and
it was easy to follow - the guide book had indicated it was difficult
navigation but in the end it was straight forward. Into one creek
system that was completely dry then up up 150m in 600m only to drop
into another creek system. This was the first decent water I had seen
since Thredbo so it was a welcome sight. Then another huge climb that
wouldn't be out of place on the 3 peaks route. Fortunately they have
just cleared the path otherwise I would still be there. Camp tonight
is at 905 295 up on the ridge at Misery Trail.
